Perfect fit for 2006 Tacoma

Got this with free shipping making it a slam dunk. I have an extended cab and the mat fits perfectly with cut outs for the rear tiedown rings. The mat is also marked to be cut to fit the short bed. The mat itself is heavy weight with lots of nubs on the bottom side to prevent sliding. The topside is marked with ribs that mimic the plastic ribs of the plastic bed, but they are cosmetic only and have only superficial relief.

Beware - 2 parts under one part number

Website states it fits and can be trimmed. This is true if you get the right one. As other people have said before this company sells two completely different bed mats under one part number. One is apparently very nice with a line to trim for the double cab and cutouts for the D-rings. The other one is the one I got. No trim lines and no cutouts. Material is thin and cheap with wire sticking out in spots and melted spots in the rubber. Has obviously been shipped to more than one customer who obviously sent it back.
First order was shipped using Amazon Prime with two day shipping. Replacement will take 6 days. Why am I paying for Amazon Prime if the shipping is only good for the first try? The mistake is on Amazon's part and I have to wait another week. Should have bought this item locally.
If you buy this item you need to lower your expectations first and not be in any hurry. Good luck.
UPDATE: Amazon shipped me a second one. Guess what? It was another cheap one. No cutouts, trim lines, nothing. Even had the same imperfections in the rubber. Tired of messing with it so I decided to just keep it. If you are thinking you might get lucky and get the nice one, think again. I was 0 for 2. Good luck!

Hit or miss

After receiving a truly terrible looking, feeling and smelling mat with no cutouts for the tie down rings on my Tacoma, I decided to call Dee Zee to find out why. Turns out they have two different vendors producing two very different mats that Dee Zee sells under the same model number. I've seen the other mat that has cutouts and it is a much better product and what I assumed I was getting. The inferior mat is sticky to the touch and the sides of it look like they were ripped in a jagged fashion rather than clean cut. The good mat has cutouts for the D-rings and a faint line to show where to cut for use in a short bed. After seeing that this company knowingly would try to sell a terrible product fraudulently under the same model number as another I decided I'll pass purchasing anything else from them in the future. To Amazons credit their return policy is very good. Although they should be aware of the Dee Zee bait and switch game and try to persuade them to do the right thing. If you order this mat just be aware that you may or may not be getting the correct product. Buyer beware!
